You see all of these celebrities endorsing these FabFitFun subscription boxes, but is it really worth it? I got the Summer 2019 box to find out for myself! Read on for my real-life frugal mom’s review of the FabFitFun box!

Back in June, I saw an ad for 40% off the FabFitFun summer box, and I talked myself into spending $30 on ME!
If you know me, you know I NEVER buy things for myself. Heck….I’ve lost 25 lbs since the end of January, and I’m still wearing last years shorts – with a belt. LOL
So for me to choose to spend $30 on a subscription box is a HUGE deal.
When you sign up for the FabFitFun box, you do get to choose a few of your items. I just did the seasonal subscription, so I got to choose 3 things. I’m pretty sure you get to choose more if you do the yearly subscription, which also saves you a few bucks.
What’s Inside the FabFitFun Summer Box?
Here’s what came in my Summer box:
Let’s start with what I picked out…
I chose the bowl set – I ADORE these bowls! I know…sounds silly, right? After all, they’re just bowls. But these are SO PRETTY, and they are perfect for food styling, too! So be looking for these to show up in some of my recipe photos!
The star necklace – that little dainty necklace retails for $50! You know I would never pay that much, but I already have it on, and I LOVE it!! It’s from Jennifer Zeuner Jewelry, if you want to check it out!
The floral kimono is the last thing I chose. It’s made of rayon and is so soft! I can picture wearing it to the pool over my bathing suit, or around the house in the morning/evening.
The other items in my box were chosen by the FabFitFun team, and are surprisingly good choices for me. I was pretty impressed that the items are all full-sized, unlike the smaller samples in an Ipsy Glam Bag.
- Eyeco liquid eyeliner in black
- Invisibobble hair ring set of 6
- Generation Clay purple clay mask
- Intelligent Nutrients refinishing micro polish
- Grace & Stella rose spray (smells heavenly and is so refreshing!)
- Whish Beauty exfoliating foot mask
Y’all….if this box isn’t worth the $29 I paid for it, or the normal price of $49, I don’t know what it.
The biggest CON I have for the box is the length of time it takes to ship. I paid for the box on June 26, 2019, and finally received it today, July 30, 2019.
For this frugal mom, it’s a long time to tie up money.
The Frugal Mom’s Review of the FabFitFun Box…Is It Worth It?
After all of that, is the box worth getting? In my opinion, YES! I enjoyed opening the box and seeing all of the awesome goodies inside. And I feel like the items I got to pick were from a pretty wide range for a variety of tastes.
